There are many types of therapy available. Three of the more common methods used are offered by Andy at his practice and include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), and Clinical Hypnotherapy.
Andy also practices Psychoanalytic and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. Often, a blended approach is used.
Some types of therapy teach you practical techniques on how to reframe negative thinking and employ behavioural skills in combating issues.
Therapy can also help you work through the root of your feelings, helping you understand why you feel a certain way, what your triggers are, and what you can do to stay healthy.
