Andy Garland Therapies - Counselling Cardiff - Mental Health Services Cardiff - Cardiff Therapists - self-help - mentally fit in a crisis

Remaining mentally fit during a crisis can keep your mind and body stronger. A crisis can often mean that you no longer feel able to cope or be in control of your situation. You may feel great emotional distress or anxiety, cannot cope with day-to-day life or work. It's important to take care of yourself and get the most from life, even in challenging times.

Our mental wellbeing is dynamic. It can change from moment to moment, day to day, month to month or year to year. We're all different. What affects someone's mental wellbeing won't necessarily affect others in the same way. But we all have times when we have low mental wellbeing, where we feel stressed, upset or find it difficult to cope. Mental fitness is just as important as physical fitness, and shouldn't be neglected.

These mental health tips were created during the COVID19 period, and were posted to Andy's Instagram and Facebook pages. You may find these tips useful when you find yourself in a crisis. No matter the reason, it can be helpful to remember that you deserve to feel good and there are steps you can take to improve and maintain your mental wellbeing.
