Andy's first degree was obtained from Cardiff University, where he graduated with a first class Bachelor of Education (BEd) with Honours in Adult Education and Developmental Psychology. His connection with Cardiff University remains with his post as associate lecturer in the School of Social Sciences. He studied for his combined Master's degree within the Medicine, Dentistry and Health faculty at The University of Sheffield, graduating with a Master of Science (MSc) in Psychotherapy.
As well as his academic qualifications, Andy continues to update his skills and knowledge in his field with on-going development in the area of mental health psychology and wellbeing.
He holds a host of post-graduate qualifications relevant to his study, including Clinical Hypnotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Psycho-analytical therapy.
