The Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS) is a screening device for measuring the severity of anxiety and depression separately.
H.A.D.S can be used for all ages from adolescence upwards.
The test will indicate whether someone is ‘within the normal range’, or in a ‘mildly’, ‘moderate’ or ‘severely’ disordered state.
